In July 2011, Muria Roberts and Mahmud Yogi Proyoga gave a presentation about the work of mei at a launch of their new book, Achieving a Shared World. The book was written to support their oral presentation at the Australian Animal Studies Group Conference, held in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia from the 10-13 July and hosted by Griffiths University. The title of the conference, Animals, people - a shared environment, could not have matched the work of mei more perfectly.
